Learning Objectives:

Today is the day! The students will creating their own public service announcement to air on the local access television channel, as well as the school's website. The teacher will show the following video as an example of a simple format informational video.
After the video, the students will break into their commercial groups, review their scripts and have a dress rehearsal of their commercial. When they are ready, they will video their assigned section keeping their time to 3 minutes per group. After filming is done, each group will present their part in the commercial to the class, who will critique the presenters with the following rubric.
After the class's performances the teacher will commend them on their job in creating these public service announcements. The teacher will encourage them to show their commercial to their friends and family by accessing the school's website, and challenge them to never stop finding ways to make the world a better place.
